Rain Barrel Soaker Hose 50' (RBSOAKER50) Installation Instructions
1. Unwind the hose. Allowing the hose to sit in the warm sun for a brief time may help
loosen any coil remaining from packaging and will help with placement.
2. Attach the soaker hose to the rain barrel.
3. Stretch the hose throughout your garden near the base of the plants in which you
wish to provide irrigation. Use gentle loops to provide maximum coverage to plants,
trees, and vegetables. For established plants, hoses should lay about 2 inches from
plant stems. For new plants or annuals, closer spacing is suggested since their roots
are shallower.
4. Turn on the rain barrel faucet to allow your rain barrel water to gradually flow
through the porous hose membrane adjusting until you see a slow but steady drip.
5. Cover with a thin layer of mulch to conceal the hose.
