CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
5.Placebackplate(D)overmountingbracket(A).Ensuretheholesinthebackplateandonthesideofthemountingbracketalign.
Insertsmallscrews(C)intotheholesonthesideofthebackplate(D)tosecureittomountingbracket(A).
6.Attachcandlesleeve(F)tothebackplate(D).
Installalightbulb(notincluded)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.
Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Remove the old xture from the wall, including
the old mounting bracket.
1.Placemountingbracket(A)upagainstyourjunctionbox.Positionthemountingbracketsothattheholesonthesideareleveland
parallelwiththeoor.
2.Securemountingbracket(A)tothewall’sjunctionboxusingmountingscrews(B)andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.
3.Pullthehousewiresthroughthecenterofmountingbracket(A).
CONNECTING THE WIRES
4.Holdbackplate(D)uptothejunctionbox.Attachthexture’swirestothehousewiresfromthejunctionboxbyconnecting
HottoHot(black,transparentwirewithblackinnerthread,orsmoothwire),NeutraltoNeutral(white,transparentwirewith
whiteinnerthread,ortheribbedwire),andGroundtoGround(green,transparentwirewithgreeninnerthread,orthecopper
wire).Twisttheendsofeachwirepairtogether.Secureeachconnectionwithawireconnector(usuallyorange).Makesureall
twistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecomingfromthejunctionbox,pleaselocategroundscrew(E)
onthemountingbracket/mountingbracket(B)andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundgroundscrew(E).Useascrewdriver
totightenthetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewiresandintothemountingbracket/mountingbracket.Tuckthewiresintothe
junctionbox.
