Description:
GenTite Edge Caulk (Black) is a one-part elastomeric sealant that is used primarily with the Cover Tape.
It offers excellent adhesion to Rubber Roofing (Black) and other surfaces, as well as excellent resistance
to ozone, ultra-violet, and general weathering.

Installation:
Apply GenTite Edge Caulk according to current GenTite specifications and details. Apply a continuous
“high profile” bead of caulk at field seam intersections, cover tape end laps, edge metal joints. GenTite
Edge Caulk may be used at other details using Cover Tape including curb/skylights, pitch pans, scuppers,
perimeter edge metal, and gutters. Refer to current GenTite Application Instructions for additional
application instructions.


Coverage Rate: A 326 ml (11 oz.) tube seals 15 L.F.
STORAGE:
Store indoors in original unopened containers at a temperature between 60 ºF and 80 ºF (16 ºC and
27 ºC) for maximum shelf life. Do not store on roof in direct sunlight. When exposed to lower
temperatures, restore to room temperature prior to use.
SHELFLIFE:
12 months; shelf life will be shortened if exposed to elevated temperatures.
PRECAUTIONARYDATA:
This product is extremely flammable. Vapors may cause flash fires. Vapors may ignite explosively under
certain conditions. Keep away from fire, sparks, and sources of heat. Extinguish all flames and pilot
lights. Turn off electronic motors, stoves, or heaters, or any source of ignition during use and until all
vapors have been dispersed. Do not smoke.
• Review Material Safety Data Sheet prior to use.
• Open all doors and windows.
• Close containers after use.
• Use with adequate ventilation.
• Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors.
