Select the Authentication m et hod that your I SP uses, eit her CHAP, PAP

I f your I SP provided you wit h a host nam e, ent er it in t he Host N am e

6. I f your I SP requires the use of the MAC address from your Ethernet adapter t o
identify you on their net work, select t he correct MAC address from t he drop-down
m enu in the Clone M AC address sect ion.
To det erm ine t he MAC address of your NI C, com plete the following st eps:
W indow s XP, 2 0 0 0 , or N T Users: Click Windows St a r t and then Run. Type
cm d and click OK. At the DOS prom pt, type ipconfig / all. You will see all of the
inform at ion regarding your net work connection. The MAC address m ay be list ed
as t he Physical Address.
W indow s M e, 9 8 , or 9 5 Use rs: Click Windows St a r t and then Run. Type
w inipcfg and click OK. You will see all of the inform ation regarding your network
connection. The MAC address m ay be list ed as the Physical Address.
7. When you have entered all t he appropriat e inform at ion for your connection, click
Sa ve at the bot t om of the page.
