7a.2 Undo the red and green thermocouple connections (A)

and the white ignition lead (B) from the gas valve,

see Diagrams 15.

NOTE: Ensure the correct orientation when replacing, see

Diagram 15 detail.

7a.3 Remove the screw and sealant from plate, see

Diagrams 16.

When replacing the cover plate ensure silicone sealant

is used to seal the aperture.

7a.4 Gently bend the tabs back to remove the pilot cage, see

Diagram 17.

7a.5 Remove the 2 screws securing the pilot assembly,

see Diagram 18.

7a.6 Replace with a new pilot assembly and check the spark gap,

see Diagram 19.

NOTE: Ensure the correct orientation when replacing.

7a.7 After reassembly check for gas soundness and carry out a

flame failure functional check as detailed in the Fault Finding

chart, especially the time it takes for the mag unit to close.

7b. Slide Control

7b.1 Undo the pilot pipe from the pilot unit, see Diagrams 20.
