NOTE: If you remove the kettle from the power base in the KEEP WARM mode, your kettle will automatically switch off.

Additionally the filter will prevent boiling water from splashing, when you pour the water. Clean the filter regularly to avoid blockage of the mesh. WARNING: Do not attempt to remove the filter while the kettle is plugged in or hot. Handle the mesh filter with care.
