Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
ROUTINE CLEANING
Our rollout flooring is both easy to install and easy to clean.
Whether it is being used in your garage, shed, workshop or a
room in your home, these steps will help keep your product
looking great. You can clean your floor in the garage, or simply
move it outdoors to wash off.
1. Sweep or vacuum regularly. Avoid using the beater bar.
2. Clean up spills immediately. Although our floors are there
to protect, you still want to be proactive in removing
anything that could cause damage or stains.
3. Use cool water and household soap or detergent to
clean to remove stains
4. Wipe away any debris using a damp mop, soft push
broom, or squeegee
5. Remove any excess cleaner to prevent build up
6. Allow floors to dry before proceeding with traffic.
HEAVY CLEANING FOR STAINS
Our floors surface is ultra-durable to withstand vehicle traffic;
however, vinyl is not a stain proof material. Certain dyes, inks,
rubber based material, and chemicals may cause permanent
staining. Keep in mind that if you do not use a slip resistant floor
cleaner, the surface of your floor may become slick.
1. Sweep or vacuum the affected area to remove debris,
dust and grit.
2. Clean up spills immediately. If you have tough stains
prepare a cleaning solution – we recommend diluting the
chemical cleaner with clean, warm water.
3. Apply to the stain and let sit for 2-3 minutes.
4. Use soft bristle scrub brush if needed
5. Wipe away stain or excess with clean towel –
we recommend a soft microfiber towel.
6. Rinse to remove any remaining residue.
7. Allow to air dry
RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS AND TOOLS FOR CLEANING
• Wet/Dry Vacuum
• Soft Bristle Brush
• Broom
• Power washer
• Mop
• Household cleaners that are vinyl safe – Diluted dish soap
is a great option!
HELPFUL HINTS AND MAINTENANCE
• Never push or drag furniture across floors. Always lift and
carry!
• Use a quality floor mat, such as our Vinyl Anti-Fatigue Mat,
for extra protection outside of entrances and exits to limit
what is tracked in on your floors.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive scrubbers, or steel wool.
• Always clean up spills immediately!
