The Windows Control Panel allows you to customize your Touchpad with selections made from within the Mouse Properties dialog box. SCROLLING DRAGGING Dragging means pressing and holding the left button, while moving the cursor.

Close any open files. 2. Shut down your LifeBook notebook. 3. Pull out the Flexible Bay eject lever. This will push your device out slightly, allowing you to remove the device. 4. Slide your device out until it is clear of the bay. This will require light force.

Removing Security Panel Application with Passwords Still Active Using this feature will not allow any changes to the password. POINT Removing the applications does not remove the password. It simply removes the utility to change/add/ remove passwords. To change your password you must reinstall the application.

When you turn on your LifeBook notebook for the first time, it will display a Fujitsu logo on the screen and then the Windows 2000 Professional setup screen will appear.

Some of these features are automatic and need no user intervention, such as those for the internal modem. However, others depend on the parameters you set to best suit your operating conditions, such as those for the display brightness.

This is particularly important if you will be leaving your LifeBook notebook in a suspended state for a prolonged period of time. The drawback of using Hibernation mode is that it lengthens the power down and power up sequences and resets peripheral devices.
