Step 4: Top Bracket Installaon
1. Posionwood2”x4”(actual1-1/2”[38mm]x3-1/2”
[89mm])underboombracket.AsshowninFig.1.
2. Fullyrakeandplacepanelnexttopostsontopofwood 2”
x4”(actual1-1/2”[38mm]x3-1/2”[89mm]).
3. Clamppaneltopostin4places.
4. Usealeveltoensurepanelandpostsarebothstraight.
5. Posiontoprailbracketsparallelwithpanel&atcentered
onpost.Make sure inside boom of bracket is ush with
boom of rail. As shown in Fig. 3.
6. Usepenciltomark top edge of bracket locaononpost.As
showninFig.4.
7. Dis-assemblethebracketsbyremovingthebarrel&screw.
8. Placetop rail bracketbasesonprevioustopedgemark.
Center the base on the post and use pencil to add marks
fortwoscrewholelocaons. AsshowninFig.5.
Tip:
• Besurebasesarecenteredonpostswhenmakingmarks.
• DO NOTmountbracketsintoboompostinthisstep.
