Introduction

Eva-Last identified a need for a fencing system that not only looked good, but was functional,

easy to install (even to the most unadventurous builder) and would fulfill the requirements

for a low maintenance, environmentally friendly product that would last our customers years to

come.

It was evident to us that, while we could meet those requirements with our composite

materials, we would need to overcome some of the inherent weaknesses of a product that we

have spent so many years perfecting and develop a holistic system of parts that worked

perfectly together.

After extensive research Eva-Last developed a coated aluminium structure to marry with a

lightweight and robust fence board made from our composite material. Both components

well-suited in their ability to withstand the ravages that extended durations in a harsh

environment can result in.

Having reached this stage, we decided to take it a step further. We had developed the

underlying materials to be robust. Now how could the design of a fence system be improved

to not only fulfill the basic requirements of a fence but to also be versatile in design and

installation. (talk about flexibility and ease with which to accommodate varying terrain,

direction, aesthetics, wind, ground/mount installation).

A Fence system held together with nothing more than a couple of screws and gravity.

Post Assembly Parts Several parts are required to complete your Evolver Fence system. They can either be purchased separately or in a full kit in accordance with our packaged solutions.

Post Installation The Evolver post is dynamic in its ease of installation, been able to adapt to its surroundings. Whether you have an existing surface you wish to install on, perhaps in a parking or pavement, or a brand new home without any existing fencing or boundaries, Existing Foundation No foundation 300mm Post mount 600mm Embedded Post mount STEP 1.

When slotting the post over the post mount. Make certain that your rail slots are facing in the correct direction for your fence boards.

STEP 3. Slide rail supports into place. Rail supports are supplied in several lengths, that can be cut to size to accommodate the changing levels in your terrain, and can even be stacked on top of each other.

STEP 4 Slide post covers into place where fence boards are not needed STEP 5 1860mm in length in order to accommodate the slot depth. Make absolutely certain that you do not exceed 1860mm c/c between posts.

Rail and fence board assembly There are so many colour and types of fence board options available in our Evolver range, that all work well with our locking rails. Once you’ve made your choice, all parts just slip together easily.

RAIL AND BOARD INSTALLATION Step 1: Slide down bottom rail Step 2: Slide Boards and/or intermediate rail one after the other. Use a rubber/wooden mallet to gently knock boards down if necessary. *if you do use a mallet, try to hit as straight down as possible. Perpendicularly to the board. To avoid damaging the tongue of the board. Step 3 Slide over Top Rail Step 4 Slide Rail bracket into place. And fasten. Step 5 Slide post cap into place. Knock with mallet if necessary.

45 Degree conversion assembly One of the many things that make the Evolver post so unique, is the fact that you can change angles, not just at 90 degrees, but at 45 degrees. Only one additional part is necessary to make this conversion possible. The converter bracket, is easily fastened into place using our specially designed screws, and is easily positioned by the guides build into our system. Allowing you to build fences at 8 different angles.

Step 1. Line the 45 degree converted up with the triangular guides. And fasten into place using provided screws. Step 2.

Slide a rail support into place thereafter, and assemble the rest as you would any other direction.

GENERAL INSTALLATION TIPS Fence Kits For easy distribution, Evolver is sold in sets, that form a 1800x1800 fence kit. To form a Fence Kit, you would need 1 Standard post set and 2 Board Sets. and the last post installed would need to be a single post set..

Ancillary items sold separately 45 degree converter Post Cap Post Mounts Intermediate rail 1800mm X 6 or x 1 1800mm GENERAL INSTALLATION TIPS Cutting As our boards all come pre-cut to exactly the same length each time, installation is increadibly easy. There may however be a need to cut the various parts especially in the last few fence boards you lay. Cutting can easily be accomplished using standard tools. Composite boards are similar to hardwood and may be cut with a circular saw with a sharp disk.
