Secure glass (Q) onto the socket (P) by screwing socket ring (R)
tightly. Install light bulb (not included) in accordance with the
fixture’s specifications. Do not exceed the recommended maximum
wattage.
Carefully remove all contents from the carton. See the
important notes above. Shut off the power at the circuit
breaker and completely remove the old fixture from the
ceiling, including the old mounting bracket.
screw (E) on mounting bracket (A) and wrap the fixture’s
ground wire around the green ground screw (E). Use
screwdriver to secure ground screw (E) onto mounting bracket
(A). Tuck all wires neatly into the junction box.
Remove the mounting bracket assembly from the bag.
One end of nipple (F) should be attached to mounting
bracket (A) with hex nut (D) in place. The other end
should have deco nut (H) attached.
Attach mounting bracket (A) to the junction box by
securely tightening the mounting screws (B). Unscrew
deco nut (H) from nipple (F). Pass fixture’s canopy (G)
over the nipple (F) so that it is against the ceiling. Adjust
position of nipple (F) on mounting bracket (A) so that
deco nut (H) will sit neatly on the canopy (G) when the
canopy is installed. Once ideal position of nipple (F) is
determined, tighten up the hex nut (D) on the nipple (F)
right underneath the mounting bracket (A) to secure the
nipple in place.
Push canopy (G) up to the ceiling and tighten the deco
nut (H) onto the exposed nipple (F).
There are two 18 inch rods (K), two 12 inch rods (L), and
two 6 inch rods (M) included for each fixture. Determine
the correct number of rods needed for proper hanging height.
To lengthen the fixture, add additional rods. If additional
rods are needed, contact the place of purchase to order. To
shorten the fixture, trim the wires to the desired length,
leave at least 8 to 10 inches of wire in addition to the desired
length and slide any excess rods off the wires to discard.
Keep in mind that you must use at least the provided
6 inch rods (M) to hang the fixture. Thread the wires through
the rods and pull the wires until taut before connecting the
rods together. Screw bottom rods (M) onto nipples (N) on the
fixture. Screw the nipples of the top rods onto swivel posts (I)
of canopy (G). Pull the fixture wires through the top of the
canopy.
