Provides a natural finish that protects wood against moisture and

sun damage. Fortified with PENETROL

for excellent penetra-

tion. Recommended for use on any properly prepared exterior

wood, including decks, fences, siding, railings, outdoor furniture

and other wood surfaces. Apply to new, dry, pressure-treated

wood, uncoated new or weathered wood, or wood previously

stained or painted. Apply directly to weathered wood previously

finished with FLOOD CWF-UV; other previous coatings must be

completely removed.

COVERAGE: One gallon (3.78 Liters) will normally cover 150 to 250

sq. ft. (13.9 to 23.2 sq. meters). Coverage will vary due to porosity and

texture of wood and application technique.

DRYING TIME: Normally dries to the touch in four hours when applied

in optimal temperatures of 50°F to 90°F (10°C to 32°C). Application in

high humidity or in temperatures below 50°F (10°C) may prolong drying

time. Allow 24 to 48 hours of drying time before light foot traffic and 72

hours before replacing furniture. Allow new stain to cure 30 days before

washing.

To Recoat: Wet-on-wet before first coat has dried

For Pedestrian Service: 24-48 hours

Drying times listed may vary depending on temperature, humidity, film

build, color and air movement.

CLEANUP: Clean brushes and tools with warm, soapy water.

DISPOSAL: Contact your local environmental regulatory agency for

guidance on disposal of unused product. Do not pour down a drain or

storm sewer.

FLOOD FLD520 FLOOD CWF-UV Penetrating Wood Finish GENERAL SURFACE PREPARATION Surface must be dry and clean. Remove all dust, dirt, mildew, oil, loose wood fibers and other contaminants. Use Wood Stripper to remove any previous coatings. Previous coatings must be completely removed. To ensure proper adhesion, weathered, dirty or mildewed surfaces should be cleaned with Wood Cleaner prior to applying product. After rinsing, allow wood to dry. Remove grade stamps or pencil marks by sanding.
