Mop Service Basins

TSBC 6000 Series

General:

Precast terrazzo one piece products are made of black and white marble chips cast in

grey portland cement to produce a compressive strength of not less than 3000 P.S.I.,

seven days after casting. The terrazzo surface is ground and polished with all air

holes and/or pits grouted and the excess removed. Mop service basins are available

in custom sizes.

TSBC 6000 series neo-corner model 12” (305) high with plain shoulders. Shoulders

shall not be less than 2” (51) wide with ½” (13) pitch toward inside.

The drain body in mop basins are made of stainless steel cast integrally and provide

for a caulked lead connection not less than 1” (25) deep to a 3” (76) pipe.

Installation:

Establish ¼” (6) clearance between mop service basin and building wall. It is

required that the entire area between the mop service basin and the building floor

has a ½” (13) layer of mortar in order that the mop service basin is level.

Optional stainless steel tiling flanges available.
