ATTIC LADDERS WARRANTY INFORMATION
FAKRO warrants attic ladder models # (OLN, OLN-P, OWM,) for the period of one year AND attic stairs
models # (LWS-P, LWF, LWM, LST, LSF) for the period of two years from the date of purchase. FAKRO
warrants its products to be free from any defects in material and workmanship, including the durability
of wooden and metal elements and proper functioning of the opening and closing mechanisms. This
excludes normal wear and any product, which is not finished, installed, maintained and operated in
accordance with FAKRO instructions. Fakro does not authorize any modification within construction of
attic stairs like extend length of the ladder.
FAKRO excludes and will not pay for incidental or consequential damages and its liability will in all
instances be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. FAKRO reserves the right to
provide a similar product or a component if the original version is no longer available at the time of the
claim.
In order to obtain the benefits of this warranty, you must give us notice of the defective product, within a
reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. Please DO NOT return product to its place of
purchase. Your claim must be made to FAKRO America L.L.C., 311 West Laura Drive, Addison, IL
60101 including description of the product such as size and type, description of the defect, your name
and address (with zip/postal code) where the product is installed and phone number(s). Please call our
Customer Service Department at 630-543-1010 or 519-352-6587 in order to obtain return authorization
code.
