To clean a pump clogged with debris: □ □ □ □ □ □ Unplug the pump from electrical power.
Troubleshooting CAUTION: SHUT OFF POWER TO THE PUMP. Problem The motor runs but no water is discharged or flow rate is lower than expected. Possible Cause The intake screen or impeller is blocked. There is an airlock in the discharge. The discharge hose is kinked, bent sharply or coiled. The discharge hose/pipe goes up too high. The hose diameter is too narrow or the hose is too long.
