If your operating system is Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000,
Windows NT4.0, or Windows XP

If your operating system is Windows Vista or Windows 7
"C:\Users\(User Name)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program
Files\EPSON Projector\EasyMP (or EMP) Monitor Ver. x.xx (Ver. x.xx
represents the software version)"
If you cannot find the "AppData" folder, click "Start" - "Control Panel"
- "Appearance and Personalization" - "Folder Options". Select "View"
tab, and then configure the "Show hidden files, folders, and drives"
setting in "Advanced settings".
After installing this software, follow the instructions below before
starting EasyMP Monitor to transfer the settings.
If your operating system is Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000,
Windows NT4.0, or Windows XP
Overwrite the existing EMP Monitor.dat file with the copy you made.
The existing EMP Monitor.dat file is in "C:\Program Files\EPSON
Projector\EasyMP Monitor Ver.4.40".
If your operating system is Windows Vista or Windows 7
Place the copy of the EMP Monitor.dat file in "C:\Users\(User
Name)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\EPSON
Projector\EasyMP Monitor Ver.4.40".

If you are already using EMP Monitor, you can replace it with this software.
Installing
When you are using the following OS, you must have administrator
authority in order to install EasyMP Monitor.
If EasyMP or EMP Monitor is already installed, uninstall it before
installing this software. s p.46
When your OS language is supported by EasyMP Monitor, the software
is installed in the same language as your OS automatically.
However, the following cases are exceptions.
When using Windows NT4.0: Since Arabic and Hebrew are not
supported, English is selected for the installation.
When using Windows Vista: You must update to Windows Vista SP1
to use the Ukrainian version.
When the language selected for the EasyMP Monitor installation varies
from that of the OS being used, the screens may not be displayed
correctly.
Procedure
A Turn the computer on.
To prevent problems from occurring during the installation, we
recommend that you terminate all resident applications that can be
ended.
B Load the supplied Projector Software CD-ROM in your
computer.
The installer automatically starts up.
