10. CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE
10.1 Before Maintenance
Turnthesystemobeforecleaning.To
clean,wipewithasoft,drycloth.Donot
usebleachorabrasives.
WARNING!
Powersupplymustbe
disconnectdbeforecleaningthe
indoor unit.
• Aclothdampenedwithcold
watermaybeusedonthe
indoorunitifitisverydirty.Then
wipe it with a dry cloth.
• Donotuseachemicallytreated
cloth or duster to clean the unit.
• Donotusebenzine,thinner,
polishingpowder,orsimilar
solventsforcleaning.These
maycausetheplasticsurfaceto
crackordeform.
• Neverusewaterhotterthan
40ºC/104ºFtocleanthe
frontpanel,itcouldcause
deformationanddiscoloration.
10.2 Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the unit with a soft dry cloth only. If
theunitisverydirty,wipeitwithacloth
soakedinwarmwater.
10.3 Cleaning the Filters
Acloggedairlterreducesthecooling
eciencyofthisunit.Pleasecleanthe
lteronceevery2weeks.
1. Lifttheindoorunitfrontpaneluptoan
angle until it stops with a full support
fromthebracket.
2. Holdthedustflterhandleandliftit
upslightlytotakeitoutfromthelter
holder.

4. Thehealthyairfresheninglter
(ifapplicable)arexedonthedustlter.
• Removethehealthylterfromthe
supportframeofthedustlter.
