Sensor Modes The sensor is a semi-conductor device that detects the vapor (moisture and humidity) emitted from the food as it heats. Other Special Features 23 Keep warm Keep warm allows you to keep food warm for 30 minutes. Direct use • Suppose you want to keep a cup of soup warm for 30 minutes. Procedure Step 1. Press keep warm pad. With manual cooking • Suppose you want to cook a cup of soup for 2 minutes at 70% and keep the soup warm for 15 minutes. Procedure Step Press Press keep warm 1. Convenient Features User pref Procedure User pref provides 4 features that make using your oven easy because specific instructions are provided in the interactive display. Step Press 1. CHILD LOCK 5. Enter cooking time. The Child Lock prevents unwanted oven operation such as by small children. The oven can be set so that the control panel is deactivated or locked. To set, press user pref, the number 1 and then press the START pad. Should a pad be touched, CHILD LOCK ON will appear in the display.
Convenient Features Multiple sequence cooking More or less time adjustment Your oven can be programmed for up to 4 automatic cooking sequences, switching from one power level setting to another automatically. Convenient Features Timer on-off Demonstration mode • Suppose you want to time a 3-minute long distance phone call. To demonstrate, press set clock, the number 0 and then press the START pad and hold for three seconds. DEMO ON will appear in the display. Cooking operations and specific special features can now be demonstrated with no power in the oven. For example, press add 30 seconds pad and the display will show .30 and count down quickly to END.
