LIMITED WARRANTY FOR WOOD DOORS
EIGHTDOORS warrants all doors for one year from the date of shipment to be of good material and workmanship,
and free of defects that would render the doors unserviceable or unfit for the ordinary recommended use.
Manufacturing defects include warpage exceeding 1/4” in the plane of the door, splitting of stiles and rails, and
delamination of veneer. Warp tolerance is any distortion in the door itself and does not refer to the relation of
the door to the frame or jamb in which it is hung. The term “warp” shall include bow and twist. The warranty does
not extend to any other product but the door itself.
All doors must be storage, finished and maintained in the strictest conformity with the installation and finishing
instructions as provided in the “Use and Care Instructions”. If determined by our technical team that the required
storage and finishing procedures of products were not properly accomplished, it will void the warranty.
If warranted doors are found to contain defects as stated above, the manufacturer may, at its option:
1) Replace the door without charge to the consumer within (30) days from the actual receipt of the
product;
2) Refund the price paid to it for the door.
In no case shall EIGHTDOORS pay the labor costs for installation or finishing of the original or replaced door or any
cost related to the replacement of the door.
Action on any claim for warping may be deferred, at the option of manufacturer, for a period of time not to exceed
12 months from the date of claim. If a door has been installed prior to such claim, the door must remain in the
original hung installation during the period of deferment to permit conditioning of the door to humidity and
temperature.
The manufacturer will not be liable for any door repaired or replaced without its prior written consent.
Warranty does not cover the following items:
1) Damage caused by failure to comply with instructions on this paper and Use and Care instructions;
2) Misuse of door;
3) Doors that are improperly hung or do not swing freely;
4) Labor and costs to replace and refinishing defective doors.
This limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, and is non-transferable. The implied warranty
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and excludes all incidental or consequential damages.
