This chemical is a pesticide product regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency
and is subjected to certain labeling requirements under the federal pesticide law. These
requirements differ from the classification criteria and hazard information required for
safety data sheets, and for workplace labels of non-pesticide chemicals. Following is the
hazard information as required on the pesticide label:
CAUTION. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and
water after handling, and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or
using the toilet. Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in
some individuals.
First Aid: If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for
15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then
continue rinsing eye. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.
If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with
plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for
treatment advice.
Have the product container with you when calling a Poison Control Center or doctor,
or going for treatment. You may also contact 1-800-923-3623 for emergency
medical treatment.
Physical or Chemical Hazards
Contents under pressure. Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Do not
puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 120°F may
cause bursting.
