LBP, Lead Based Paint Sealant and Treatment (Latex Primer). Used by residential and commercial contractors, painters, and home owners as a multi-use lead based paint
product that Seals and Treats Lead Hazards during Renovation, Repair, Painting (RRP), lead paint maintenance, commercial/industrial remediation and demolition activities

defined by HUD/EPA and is not to be used as a substitute
for a permanent encapsulant with 20 year warranty
PRODUCT APPLICATION
NOTE: Due to settling, prior to use, mechanically re-mix
thoroughly for 1 minute per gallon. (Following mixing, if
needed add up to 1 cup of water per gallon)
Use on a wide variety of surfaces including (but not limited
to) wood, drywall, steel, masonry/brick, concrete and asphalt
Interior application use as a primer or as tintable topcoat;
Exterior application use as primer
Minimal surface preparation required. Surface must be dry;
remove excess grime, dirt, oil and grease. Extra surface
preparation may be required for application on high gloss oil
or epoxy surfaces.
Initial testing is recommended by painting a 1 ft x 1 ft section
prior to full application to ensure satisfactory results.
Do not apply at temperatures below 50
º
F or within 8 hours
of any anticipated precipitation.
Dry to touch is 4 hours. Average cure time to apply topcoat
is 24 hours. Any application during periods of high humidity
or low temperatures will increase the amount of drying time.
Apply at typical 6-8 mil wet thickness depending on lead-
based paint condition and lead contamination.
Product is tintable and pre-textured
EQUIPMENT
Apply with airless sprayer, brush, or roller
For airless sprayer, minimum recommended spray tip
orifice: .027 - .031 with all filters removed. Recommended
mesh size: 20 or lower. Pump size 0.70 GPM or larger (e.g.
Titan 640 or Graco 695)

Easy cleanup with warm, soapy water

Product must be stored indoors or under cover at temperatures

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
One gallon covers up to 300 sf, dependent on surface
conditions

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Provide adequate ventilation - if you experience difficulty in
breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued
difficulty is experienced, get medical assistance
immediately.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin - in case of eye contact,
flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
and get medical attention; for skin, wash thoroughly with
soap and water. If swallowed, get medical attention
immediately.
Spray equipment must be in good condition and used in
accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
The use of a respirator, eye protection, and protective
clothing is recommended.
Wash hands, tools, and equipment with warm soapy water
after use in an area that is safe for lead disposal; properly
dispose of resulting waste and wastewater as it may contain
lead.
