PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Preventive Maintenance Item
Any items found to be deficient during the preventive maintenance
review should be repaired or replaced. All fluids found low should
be topped off.
Daily
First 50 hours

Perform daily pre-operation checklist (see Operations Manual) X
Engine Oil Change engine oil and replace filter X X
Transmission Oil Change transmission fluid and replace filter X
Steering
Change power steering fluid and replace filter X
Inspect steering linkage and grease ball joints X
Inspect and grease front axle X
Cooling System
Check coolant level X
Flush coolant X
Check and clean radiator fins X
Inspect coolant hoses X
Adjust tension of belts X
Inspect belts X
Fuel System
Inspect fuel system for leaks X
Replace fuel filter X
Air Cleaner Inspect/replace air cleaner element X
Engine
Compartment
Adjust valve tappet clearance X
Remove and inspect PCV valve X
Replace O2 sensor X
Replace spark plugs X
Electrical
Inspect electrical wires and connections X
Inspect battery cables X
Brake System
Check brake fluid level X
Inspect/replace front brake pads/rotors X
Inspect/replace rear drum brake shoes/linings X
Inspect brake lines and hoses X
Suspension
Re-torque suspension u-bolts, 80 ft-lbs X
Inspect axle shaft u-joints X
Grease driveshaft u-joints X
Re-torque spindle nuts, 40 ft-lbs X
Tires
Rotate tires X
Re-torque lug nuts, 150 ft-lbs X
