You will now see 3 openings at each head side on the
rear wall of the bench. Now insert the foot panel with the
projecting flaps into the slot between the rear wall and
head strut, and then press the foot panel firmly onto the
rear wall.
Now attach the foot panel to the head strut using 3 screws,
4.2 x 9.5, from the accessory bag, see Fig. 13. Fit the se-
cond foot panel at the other head side in the same way.
Fit foot panel using 3 screws
Looking from the front side, you will see almost at the
upper end of each foot an attachment hole. Fit the floor
rail into these holes using 2 screws, 4.2 x 9.5, as shown
in Fig. 14.

The floor rail should be pushed up as far as possible.
Note also that the lateral slots in the floor rail should project
into the side wall of the foot panel, thereby ensuring the
correct lateral distance of the foot panels.

To complete the assembly of the bench, now fit the front
foot panel between the other two foot panels. To do this,
first insert the long side, with the small recesses visible at
the left and right, into the lower groove in the lengthwise
spar.
Now push the panel as far as possible into this groove.
The panel must be clipped into the upper groove of the
floor rail. To do this, first bend the panel outward slightly at
one end, as shown in Fig. 16, and then push the upper
end of the panel into the upper groove in the floor rail.

Bend the panel
outward slightly
here, and clip into
the upper groove.
Repeat this bending and pushing process at several points
until the panel has been inserted fully into the groove.
This completes the foot and pedestal assembly. The bench
can now be placed in the required position on its feet (Fig.
17).

The side panels of the bench can now be screwed back
into place. The two upper attachment screws at each side
should not be tightened yet.
