Configuration of the USB64
The configuration of the USB64 is carried out by several jumpers that have to be put on pin
headers. Configuration means in this context the adjustment of the parameters that define the
behaviour of USB64: e.g. Midi channel, type of Midi event, controller/note/program number
assigned to the first input, supply via external power supply or USB, USB active/inactive and so
on.
(6) Pin header JP9
The jumper area JP9 is made of a double row pin header with 16 pins that can be used to
install up to 8 jumpers. The jumpers 1…4 are used to adjust the Midi channel. With the jumpers
5…8 one of the presets is selected.
The following table shows the relation between the settings of the jumpers 1…4 of JP1 and the
corresponding Midi channels:
