Thesystemwillinevitable addsomenoisetothereceiver.Properlysetupthenoisefigureinasystemlikethiswillbe
betterthan3dB.However,ifthegainissetuppoorly(notenoughgainintheremote,toomuchgaininthehead
end)itispossibletocr
eateaverybadnoisefigure.InordertoavoidthistheFiberDASCalculatorshouldbeusedto
calculatethenoisefigureofthesystemintheuplink.

manual.ThefiguresintheFiberDAScalculatorrelatestothe settingsofallstepsinthechain.Byusingthecalculator
