aaa test-server
aaa test-server {mschapv2|pap} <server> <username> <passwd>
Description
This command tests a configured authentication server.
Syntax
Parameter Description
mschapv2
Use MSCHAPv2 authentication protocol.
pap
Use PAP authentication protocol.
<server>
Name of the configured authentication server.
<username>
Username to use to test the authentication server.
<passwd>
Password to use to test the authentication server.
Usage Guidelines
This command allows you to check a configured RADIUS authentication server or the internal database. You
can use this command to check for an “out of service” RADIUS server.
Example
The following commands adds a user in the internal database and verifies the configuration:
local-userdb add kgreen lkjHGfds
aaa test-server pap internal kgreen lkjHGfds
Authentication successful
