Adding a XenCenter
As Citrix XenCenter is a Client and not a Manager, you can install a plug-in on the system where
XenCenter is installed (see Figure 74). This plug-in allows the user to use Dell MUMC into XenCenter.
Click Save after the fields are updated.

Configuring Hypervisors (ESX/ESXi Server, XenServer)
Introduction
For VMware vCenter or Microsoft SCVMM installation in Dell MUMC:
• After you have entered the correct information for the Manager, the Dell MUMC connects to the
Manager (vCenter or SCVMM).
• Dell MUMC automatically retrieves the VMHost information and creates new nodes in Dell MUMC
for each VMhost
• Dell MUMC automatically creates two different types of nodes that will be described after (you can
see the new node in the Node List)
• There is no need to enter the credentials for the hosts in the Node Settings menu. The VMware
vCenter credentials are all that is required to manage the system.
• You can now continue to “Configuring Maintenance and Shutdown” on page 94.
