NOTE: By default, when a search reaches the bottom of the list and Find Next is clicked, the search wraps around to
the rst match in the list. When a search reaches the top of the list and Find Previous is clicked, the search wraps
around to the last match in the list.
Gathering and Exporting Troubleshooting Information
Use the Debug Loggers tab to set debug log options and to export conguration and log data for troubleshooting purposes.

Enable Debug Logs
Enable debug logs to gather additional information for troubleshooting purposes. Do not set debug log options unless instructed to
do so by Dell Technical Support.
1. In the Data Collector Manager, click the Debug Loggers tab.
2. Select the check boxes of the debug logs to enable.
3. Click Apply Changes.
Clear Debug Logs
Clear the debug log les to delete all Storage Manager debug log les.
1. In the Data Collector Manager, click the Debug Loggers tab.
2. Click Clear All Debug Logles. A conrmation dialog box opens.
3. Click Yes.
Export Conguration and Log Data for Troubleshooting
Export conguration and log data as a compressed le if it is requested by Dell Technical Support.
About this task
You can send the le to Dell Technical Support manually.
You can also use Dell SupportAssist to send the le.
Steps
1. Click Gather Support Data. The Gather Support Data dialog box opens.
2. Congure the time period for which to export log data by choosing a date and time in the Start Time elds.
3. If you want to use Dell SupportAssist to send debug logs to Dell Technical Support, select Send to SupportAssist.
4. If you want to save data to a le, choose a le name and location for the export le.
a. Select Send to le location.
b. Click Browse. A dialog box opens.
