During the operation of the Dell™ PowerVault™ DL2000 Backup to Disk Appliance Powered by
Symantec Backup Exec™, it may become necessary to migrate or copy backup data from one
appliance to another. Depending on the appliance configuration, this data may reside on disk,
tape, or both. This guide provides instructions for migrating the data from one appliance to an-
other for the following items:
• Disk Group(s)
• Tape Media
• Tape Library/Libraries
• Data Set(s)
• Disk Group(s) not associated with a PowerVault DL Backup to Disk Appliance
