backup destination
Congures the VLT backup link for heartbeat timers.
Syntax
backup destination {ip-address | ipv6 ipv6–address} [vrf management] [interval
interval-time]
Parameters
• ip-address — Enter the IPv4 address of the backup link.
• ipv6-address — Enter the IPv6 address of the backup link.
• vrf management — (Optional) Congure the management VRF instance for the backup IPv4 or IPv6
address.
• interval interval-time — (Optional) Enter the time in seconds to congure the heartbeat interval.

Command Mode VLT-DOMAIN
Usage Information The no version of this command removes the IP address from the backup link.
