Usage Information
NOTE: To congure these settings for a non-default VRF instance, rst enter the ROUTER-CONFIG-
VRF sub mode using the following commands:
1 Enter the ROUTER BGP mode using the router bgp as-number command.
2 From the ROUTER BGP mode, enter ROUTER BGP VRF mode using the vrf vrf-name command.

bestpath as-path
Congures the AS path selection criteria for best path computation.
Syntax
bestpath as-path {ignore | mutlipath-relax}
Parameters
• ignore — Enter to ignore the AS PATH in BGP best path calculations.
• mutlipath-relax — Enter to include prexes received from dierent AS paths during multipath
calculation.

Usage Information To enable load-balancing across dierent EBGP peers, congure the mutlipath-relax option. If you congure
both ignore or multipath-relax options at the same time, a system-generated error message appears. The
no version of this command disables conguration.
