Command Fields
Field Description
size(b) Lists the size (in bytes) of the storage location. If the location is remote, no size is listed.
Free(b) Lists the available size (in bytes) of the storage location. If the location is remote, no size
is listed.
Feature Displays the formatted DOS version of the device.
Type Displays the type of storage. If the location is remote, the word network is listed.
Flags Displays the access available to the storage location. The following letters indicate the
level of access:
• r = read access
• w = write access
Prexes Displays the name of the storage location.
Related Commands
• format ash – erases all the existing les and reformats the le system in the internal ash memory.
show os-version
Display the release and software image version information of the image le specied.
Syntax
show os-version [file-url]
Parameters
le-url (OPTIONAL) Enter the following location keywords and information:
• For a le on the internal ash, enter flash:// followed by the lename.
• For a le on an FTP server, enter ftp://user:password@hostip/filepath.
• For a le on a TFTP server, enter tftp://hostip/filepath.
• For a le on the USB port, enter usbflash://filepath.
