Command Fields
Field Description
size(b) Lists the size (in bytes) of the storage location. If the location is remote, no size is listed.
Free(b) Lists the available size (in bytes) of the storage location. If the location is remote, no size
is listed.
Feature Displays the formatted DOS version of the device.
Type Displays the type of storage. If the location is remote, the word network is listed.
Flags Displays the access available to the storage location. The following letters indicate the
level of access:
r = read access
w = write access
Prexes Displays the name of the storage location.

format ash – erases all the existing les and reformats the le system in the internal ash memory.
show os-version
Display the release and software image version information of the image le specied.
Syntax
show os-version [file-url]
Parameters
le-url (OPTIONAL) Enter the following location keywords and information:
For a le on the internal ash, enter flash:// followed by the lename.
For a le on an FTP server, enter ftp://user:password@hostip/filepath.
For a le on a TFTP server, enter tftp://hostip/filepath.
For a le on the USB port, enter usbflash://filepath.
