Congure the Overload Bit for a Startup Scenario

Viewing Files
You can only view le information and content on local le systems.
To view a list of les or the contents of a le, use the following commands.
• View a list of les on the internal ash.
EXEC Privilege mode
dir flash:
• View the running-conguration.
EXEC Privilege mode
show running-config
• View the startup-conguration.
EXEC Privilege mode
show startup-config
Example of the dir Command
The output of the dir command also shows the read/write privileges, size (in bytes), and date of modication for each le.

View Conguration Files
Conguration les have three commented lines at the beginning of the le, as shown in the following example, to help you track the last
time any user made a change to the le, which user made the changes, and when the le was last saved to the startup-conguration.
In the running-conguration le, if there is a dierence between the timestamp on the “Last conguration change” and “Startup-cong last
updated,” you have made changes that have not been saved and are preserved after a system reboot.
