Syntax
distribute-list name out {bgp | rip | static \ connected}
no distribute-list name out {bgp | rip | static \ connected}
• name—The name used to identify an existing ACL. The range is 1–31
characters.
• bgp—Apply the specified access list when BGP is the source protocol.
• rip—Apply the specified access list when RIP is the source protocol.
• static—Apply the specified access list when packets come through the
static route.
• connected—Apply the specified access list when packets come from a
directly connected route.
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Router OSPF Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example specifies the access list to filter routes received from
the RIP source protocol.
console(config-router)#distribute-list ACL40 out rip
enable
Use the enable command in Router OSPF Configuration mode to set the
administrative mode of OSPF in the router (active). OSPF is now globally
enabled using the router ospf command. Use the no form of the command to
disable the administrative mode for OSPF.
