Configuring with Dell EMC PowerSwitch Series
overview
This document describes the steps to configure Dell PowerSwitch Series Top-of-Rack switches for a PowerStore T model with
a single cluster consisting of one appliance with a single base enclosure.
If you will not be deploying PowerStore with Dell EMC PowerSwitch Series, see the PowerStore Third-part Switch Simple
Support Matrix for the list of supported switches. The Third-party Switch Simple Support Matrix is available from Dell EMC
eLab Navigator at: https://elabnavigator.emc.com/eln/modernHomeSSM. If you are unable to access the Third-party Switch
Simple Support Matrix, please contact your service provider.
If you are configuring PowerStore T model with third-party switches, please refer to the switch proprietary documentation for
commands and specific details.
Get the network configuration worksheets completed
for Block-optimized (FC-only) deployments
Prior to configuring PowerStore T model, you should have worked with your network administrator to reserve network
resources, and complete the Network Setup Preparation Worksheet and the Initial Configuration Worksheet.
The following completed worksheets have been provided if you want to deploy your PowerStore T model networks with Dell
PowerSwitches exactly as they are demonstrated in this guide.
