If the consistency check finds and unrecoverable medium error, it means that the medium error is
located in non-user data. No further action is required as, writing data to the location of the medium
error fixes the problem.
NOTE: If the unrecoverable medium error has not been corrected, it may be reported again by the
system. This error can be fixed by writing data on the affected area or deleting and recreating the
Virtual Disk as demonstrated in the following procedure.
1. Back up the data.
2. Delete the Virtual Disk.
3. Recreate the Virtual Disk using the same parameters like size, RAID level, disks, etc.
4. Restore data.
