The wireless LAN solutions available on the Latitude X300 allow users to stay connected while roaming through a building or campus equipped with compliant Access Points. The X300’s 2 dual-band internal antennae are utilised only when the mini-PCI wireless card is installed.

The system supports up to 1152MB of memory through one SO-DIMM slot for memory modules. Memory expansion can also be accomplished after purchase through the user access door with 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, or 1024MB modules. • Hard Disk Drives – The Dell Latitude X300 offers EIDE hard drives available in 9.5mm form factors. The entry-level capacity is 20.0GB with a 30.
SYSTEM FEATURES Integrated Audio – – – – – The Latitude X300 provides audio using an AC97 CODEC. This structure also provides “Digital-Centric” Architecture that facilitates seamless docking for high performance Dell Notebooks and Docking Stations. Two speakers are integrated on the front side of the system. A subwoofer is provided via the MediaBase with a tuned port on the left side of the MediaBase. Audio jacks include stereo headphones/speaker out and external microphone-in.
SYSTEM FEATURES • Security – Dell offers several means of physically protecting the notebook, hard disk drive and docking solutions against theft. • Latitude Security lock slot: The Latitude X300 includes a slot opening on the back left side of the unit, which helps secure the notebook to desk when in use.
