Next steps
1. Install the power button with optional fingerprint reader.
2. Install the memory modules.
3. Install the heat sink (UMA) or heat sink (discrete).
4. Install the wireless card.
5. Install the M.2 2230 solid-state drive or the M.2 2280 solid-state drive in M.2 slot two.
6. Install the M.2 2230 solid-state drive or the M.2 2280 solid-state drive in M.2 slot one.
7. Install the 3-cell battery or 4-cell battery.
8. Install the base cover.
9. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.

Removing the palm-rest and keyboard assembly
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the 3-cell battery or 4-cell battery.
4. Remove the memory modules.
5. Remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive or the M.2 2280 solid-state drive from M.2 slot one.
6. Remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive or the M.2 2280 solid-state drive from M.2 slot two.
7. Remove the wireless card.
8. Remove the fan.
9. Remove the coin-cell battery.
10. Remove the heat sink (UMA) or heat sink (discrete).
11. Remove the display assembly.
12. Remove the power-adapter port.
13. Remove the speakers.
14. Remove the power button with optional fingerprint reader.
15. Remove the touchpad.
16. Remove the I/O board.
17. Remove the system board.
NOTE: The system board can be removed along with the heat sink.
