Issue 25:
Description
When using
DownloadServerPublicKey or DownloadClientCerts commands in WSMAN, the invocation
may fail when the iDRAC7 system is not ready to service the operations. This may happen when host
system is in a POST stage.
Resolution
Wait until host system is past the POST stage and retry the command.
Versions/Systems Affected
All Dell PowerEdge systems with iDRAC7.
Issue 26:
Description
When launching Virtual Console viewer using ActiveX plug-in, a blank window appears and Virtual
Console viewer does not launch.
Resolution
This may be due to incompatible binaries from a previous version. Remove temporary files from the
download location on your system (for example, C:\windows\Downloaded Program Files) and retry.
Versions/Systems Affected
All Dell PowerEdge systems with iDRAC7.
Issue 27:
Description
When video player is launched, it launches both a playback control window and a playback window. On
a Linux RHEL6.0 workstation, if the playback window loses focus, then you cannot switch back using the
mouse.
Resolution:
This is an issue with the RHEL 6.0 version of Linux. Close the playback control window by selecting 'x'
and select the playback program on task bar using the mouse to display the playback window. If you
need to view the playback controls again, select its menu item from the playback window.

All Dell PowerEdge systems with iDRAC7.
Issue 28:
Description:
When running the Virtual Media client on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, the Virtual Media
client may not be able to access a floppy disk in read-write mode because of a problem with the client
workstation operating system.
Resolution:
Apply the operating system update to the Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 client workstation
operating system as specified in the following link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2496290.
Versions/Systems Affected
All iDRAC7 supported Dell PowerEdge systems being accessed by a Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008
R2 client workstation without the specified update applied.
