Usage
Information
Set the time interval to a number large enough to prevent unnecessary retransmissions. For
example, the interval must be larger for interfaces connected to virtual links.
ip ospf transmit-delay
To send a link state update packet on the interface, set the estimated time elapsed.

Syntax
ip ospf transmit-delay seconds
To return to the default value, use the no ip ospf transmit-delay command.
Parameters
seconds
Enter the number of seconds as the interval between retransmission.
The range is from 1 to 3600. The default is 1 second.
This value must be greater than the transmission and propagation
delays for the interface.
Defaults 1 second
