Commands

IPv6 MBGP Commands

Multiprotocol BGP (MBGP) is an enhanced BGP that enables multicast routing policy throughout the Internet and

connecting multicast topologies between BGP and autonomous systems (AS). The Dell Networking operating software

(FTOS) MBGP is implemented as per IETF RFC 1858.

address family

This command changes the context to subsequent address family identifier (SAFI).

Syntax

address family ipv6 unicast

To remove SAFI context, use the no address family ipv6 unicast command.

Parameters

ipv6 Enter the keyword ipv6 to specify the address family as IPv6.

unicast Enter the keyword unicast to specify multicast as SAFI.

Defaults IPv6 Unicast
