Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP)
The Dell Networking operating software (FTOS) implementation of rapid spanning tree protocol (RSTP) is based on the
IEEE 802.1w standard spanning-tree protocol. The RSTP algorithm configures connectivity throughout a bridged local
area network (LAN) that is comprised of LANs interconnected by bridges.
FTOS supports RSTP on the Z9000 platform.
bridge-priority
Set the bridge priority for RSTP.
