Common IP Configuration
To set common IP configuration:

From
iDRAC Configuration
, select
IP Configuration
.
2 Register the iDRAC name.
3 Set the domain name from DHCP.
4 Specify the domain name.
5 Specify the host name string

to save your settings and return to the
iDRAC Configuration
menu.
Auto
Negotiate
When auto-negotiate is on, it determines whether iDRAC
automatically sets the Duplex Mode and Network Speed
values by communicating with the nearest router or hub.
When auto-negotiate is off, you must set the Duplex
Mode and Network Speed values manually.
On or Off
LAN Speed Configures the network speed to match the user's network
environment. This option is not available if Auto-
Negotiate is set to On.
10 MB or
100MB
LAN
Duplex
Configures the duplex mode to match the user's network
environment. This option is not available if Auto-
Negotiate is set to On.
