down menu, you can manually select server with its service tag for deployment from the list
under the Choose Server drop down menu.
c. At the time of server component deployment time if OS, Hardware configuration is failed,
deployment gets failed. To avoid the scenario if you select the Migrate On Failure check box on
Deployment Setting page, even if the deployment fail on a server, the service will automatically
be tried to get deployed on another servers. when this box is selected, if the server fails to deploy
correctly, we will retry with another server in the server pool that meets the service criteria. When
you select
Migrate On Failure option, if the server fails to deploy correctly for the first instance,
ASM retries with another servers in the server pool that meets the service criteria. ASM attempts
this for up to five failures. If you don’t want automatic retry of deployment to occur, you can
deselect the
Migrate On Failure check box. Additionally, in the Deployment Setting page, click
View All Setting to view the details of the components that are part of the service.
d. under OS Setting section, From Management IP Source drop down menu, you can select ASM
selected IP, Hostname DNS Lookup or Manual Entry.
At the time of deployment, if you have set up network in advance and you have set up few
template. Select ASM Selected IP, from Management IP Source drop-down menu.
If you have DNS Setting in template of the deployed service, select Hostname DNS Lookup from
Management IP Source drop-down menu.
You can select Manual Entry option even from Management IP Source drop-down menu., If you
select Manual Entry, Management IP Addressfield will be displayed. You can type IP adress which
are available for use inManagement IP Address field . The Manual Entry option is applicable only
for Exsi and Hyper-V.
5. In the Schedule Deployment page, perform one of the following actions:
Deploy Now — Select this option to deploy the service immediately.
Schedule Later — Select this option and enter the date and time to deploy the service.

NOTE: You cannot deploy a service using a template that is in draft state. Publish the template
before you use the template to deploy a service.
To deploy multiple instances of service, you must perform the following tasks:
1. Select a template from Template page.
2. Click Deploy Service. Deploy Service window is displayed.
3. On the Deploy Service window, under Service Information:
Select template from Select Publish Template drop-down menu.
Enter service name in Service Name drop-down menu.
NOTE: For the multiple instances of deployment, this service name is the base name for the
service which needs to be deployed. First service is called by the name which is provided in
Service Name field. Rest of the services are indicated by number after base service name.
4. Select number of deployment from the Number of Deployment drop-down menu.
