Printer Settings
The Printer Settings tab includes System Settings, USB Settings, PCL
Settings, PDF Settings, Secure Settings, Copy Defaults, Copy Color
Balance, Copy Settings, Fax Defaults, Fax Settings, Scan Defaults, and Print
from USB Defaults pages.
System Settings
Purpose:
To configure the basic printer settings.
Values:
Power Saver Time - Sleep Sets the time taken by the printer to enter Sleep
mode after it finishes a job.
Power Saver Time - Deep Sleep Sets the time taken by the printer to enter Deep
Sleep mode after it has entered Sleep mode.
Power Saver Wake Up -
OffHook Wake Up
Sets whether to wake up from Sleep or Deep Sleep
mode when OnHook is set to Off.
Auto Reset Sets the amount of time before the printer
automatically resets the settings on the operator
panel to the defaults when no additional settings are
made.
Fault Time-Out Sets the amount of time the printer waits before
canceling a job that stops abnormally.
Job Time-Out Sets the amount of time the printer waits for data to
arrive from the computer.
Control Panel Tone Sets the volume of the tone that is emitted when the
operator panel input is correct, or disables the tone.
Invalid Key Tone Sets the volume of the tone that is emitted when the
operator panel input is incorrect, or disables the
tone.
Machine Ready Tone Sets the volume of the tone that is emitted when the
printer becomes ready, or disables the tone.
Copy Completed Tone Sets the volume of the tone that is emitted when a
copy job is complete, or disables the tone.
