Audio Configuration
There are three settings in the Audio Configuration: Source, Volume,
and Input Gain.
1Source
Device Line is currently the only audio source option.
2Volume
The Volume slider shows, in percent, the output sound level.
Moving this slider is the same as adjusting the volume with the
Thumbwheel. If you prefer, you can type a percentage value
(0-100) directly instead of using the slider.
3Input Gain
The Input Gain controls the sound input level of your recordings.
The level is shown as a percentage, 0 to 100. If the Input Gain
slider is too low you won't hear any sound; if it is too high, there
will be distortion. Adjust the slider so that you can easily hear the
sound from your recordings without distortion. About half to
three-quarters of the way to the right is probably a good starting
point.
Just to the left of both the Volume and Input Gain sliders is a small
Speaker Icon button that toggles the input and output levels on
and off. When the level is muted, the Speaker Icon button will be
crossed out.
