Chapter 2 BIOS Operation
! Onboard Serial port 1 [3F8 / IRQ4]
This item allows user to adjust serial port 1 address and IRQ.
! Onboard Serial port 2 [2F8 / IRQ3]
This item allows user to adjust serial port 2 address and IRQ.
! Onboard Serial port 3 [3E8 / IRQ4]
This item allows user to adjust serial port 3 address and IRQ.
! Onboard Serial port 4 [2E8 / IRQ3]
This item allows user to adjust serial port 4 address and IRQ.
! Onboard Serial port 5 [4F8 / IRQ5]
This item allows user to adjust serial port 5 address and IRQ.
! Onboard Serial port 6 [4E8 / IRQ7]
This item allows user to adjust serial port 6 address and IRQ.
2.2.6 USE Device Setting
! USB 1.0 Controller
Select “Enabled” if your system contains a Universal Serial Bus (USB) controller
and you have USB peripherals. The choices are "Enabled" and "Disabled".
! USB 2.0 Controller
This entry is used to disable/enable the USB 2.0 controller only. The BIOS itself
may or may not have high-speed USB support. If the BIOS has high speed USB
support built in, the support will automatically turn on when a high speed device
is attached. The choices are "Enabled" or "Disabled".
! USB Operation Mode
Set the USB 2.0 controller to Hi Speed (480 Mbps) or Full Speed (12 Mbps).
! USB Keyboard / Mouse Function
Select Enabled. if you plan to use a USB keyboard/Mouse. The choices are
"Enabled" and "Disabled".
! USB Storage Function
Select "Enabled" if you plan to use an external USB storage device to boot the
system under DOS mode. The choices are "Enabled" and "Disabled".
