thelinewherethevaluehasbeenexceededisplacedinthe
centre,sotheusermaylookthroughthehistoryofthevalues
bothbeforeandaftertheexcess
forstoringtheabsolutemaximums,whichare
storedwheneversomeofthemeasuredvalueshasbeen
exceeded;inthisway,theusermayfindoutw hichmaximum
operatingvalueshavebeenexceededsincethelastalarm.
