76-86 Jeep CJ and Scrambler - Shackle Install Instructions
Assemble shackles onto the Jeep with the grease fittings toward the outside, and the
lock nuts on the inside. Tighten the center brace first to 85 ft. lbs., then torque the
shackle bolts to 16 ft. lbs. Do not over tighten the shackle bolts! Check torque on the
shackle bolts after 100 miles, and re-check periodically after that. Grease with multi-
