If you want to add more functional units to the smart car, you also need to prepare an
extender for UNO R3.
(3) Ultrasonic module
Connect to the UNO or extender as a sensor that realizes obstacle avoidance function in
“normal mode”.It can sense the obstacles ahead, through the emission and return of ultrasound.
(4) Tracing module
Connect to the extender as a sensor for executing “tracing mode” instruction.
It is used the "infrared detection method", which uses infrared light to have different reflection
properties on different colored physical surfaces, and continuously emit infrared light to the
ground during the driving process of the car. Diffuse reflection occurs when the infrared light
meets the white ground,the reflected light is received by the receiving tube; if it encounters a
black line, the infrared light is absorbed, and the receiving tube cannot receive the signal, so that
the smart car can follow the black line trajectory on the white ground.
